Chakra Activation Workshop Series – Day 3 – Names & Locations Of The Chakras
Good morning to you all.
I hope you had fun with your ‘activity’ yesterday.
Today we are going to touch on the location, Eastern & Western names and colour of the main seven chakras.
Tomorrow we will then follow on from the Root Chakra and work our way up.
If you have just joined us and wish to catch up with previous workshop days, please click here: Chakra Activation Workshop Series

We will be starting at the bottom of the diagram where you see a red symbol.
Base Chakra – Muladhara
Colour Red – Sometimes known as the root chakra and it sits just at the base of the spine under our perineum
Sacral Chakra – Svadhisthana
Colour Orange – this sits just below our navel
Solar Plexus Chakra – Manipura
Colour Yellow – this sits above our navel, below our breastbone
Heart Chakra – Anahata
Colour Green (with pink sometimes) – located in the centre of the chest
Throat Chakra – Vishuddha
Colour Light Blue – sits in the centre of the throat
Brow Chakra – Ajna
Colour indigo – sometimes known as the 3rd eye – located in the centre of the forehead
Crown Chakra – Sahasrara
Colour Purple – located at the top of the head
If you try to imagine these areas as a spinning wheel of energy which has a related color and purpose, yet they are all interlinked and work in unison with one another.
Activity
Take some time to visualize each chakra, starting from the bottom and imagine, perhaps with the placement of a hand where these might lie on you. Or better still if you feel confident to lie or sit in a meditative position, start at the Base Chakra and think of the area on yourself it relates to, spend a minute thinking of the color it is represented by. By doing this you are already working on your chakras.
Was there one that seemed brighter than the other, or easier or harder to work on?
Until tomorrow when we start learning about our Base Chakra a little deeper.
