Chakra Activation Workshop Series – Day 10 – Sacral Chakra, Svadhisthana
Today I have added in an extra day to cover a meditation, this as mentioned yesterday you might want to ask someone else to read out or recite it to a voice saving app to use within a meditation, rather than trying to memorize it all. Remember when reading it to use a soft, calm gentle voice with plenty of gaps between to give yourself time to visualize the words being said.
If you are following me on Instragram and Facebook you will see over the next couple of days links being posted to related items that can be used for the Sacral Chakra be they oils, malas, crystals/minerals etc.
I have included some photographs taken recently by myself at Tintagel, a very magical place in Cornwall which seemed to fit quite well with the visuals of the meditation below.
Guided Visual Meditation For The Sacral Chakra
Let your body be comfortable, posed and symmetrical….Be in touch with the rhythm of your breathing and centre into your own inner space…hear the sound of running water and find yourself walking through a wood in springtime, towards a stream…the trees have young, delicate green leaves, through which the sun is shining and dappling the ground…There is soft, moist leaf-mould underfoot…there are scattered clumps of primroses…birds are singing and are busy with their young…the stream to which you have come is very clear…It flows busily over a stony bed…the ground is flat but the water flows down on to it from a higher source, beyond the trees and woodland, where there are rocks and less green growth…You decide to follow the watercourse towards its source…As you walk uphill, every so often you refresh yourself from the clear running water…the channel through which it runs gets deeper but rockier as you go upwards…after a while you are conscious of the noise of the waterfall coming from beyond some large rocks where the stream comes through a narrow opening…You have to leave the stream and go around some rocks to the left…as you swing back towards the stream, you find yourself in a rocky clearing…Above you are great boulders and over them pours the gushing, foaming torrent of a waterfall…The torrent falls into a natural, clear rocky pool, before forcing itself through the narrow gap in the rocks…The sun is warm for springtime and high in the sky now, it falls on to the waterfall and the natural rock pool…The light and the water form rainbows in the air but the pool itself is sparkling with golden and amber colour…As you gaze into it your whole body seems to fill with warm and vital light…Your sacral chakra in particular receives healing colour and energy…fully refreshed, you dip your cupped hands into the pool and drink the water which, even as you drink, remains golden and vital…there is a magical quality around and you are drawn to look into the water’s depths…Someting is shining…You know that it is a gift for you to take with you…a talisman for your sacral chakra…Reach in…Take it…carry it with you as you return from this place, down beside the gurgling stream again, to the woodland where you began…as you return, know that, once you have found a place in our inner space, you can always revisit it…know that you can draw inner strength from the symbolic gift which you received at the mountain pool…Return gently to the rhythm of your breathing…to a full consciousness of your body…to your contact with the ground…to your every-day environment… Visualize a cross of light in a circle of light over your sacral chakra and surround the whole of your aura and body with a cloak of white light with a hood.
After this meditation you can relate to some of the questions in the prior post about ‘How does the world taste to you’ etc and also the symbolism/pictures, what was the talisman, perhaps draw it and see what forms before you.
Next week we will cover the Solar Plexus Chakra, until then please catch up with me on either my Facebook page or Aurora Facets on Instagram where I will be posting a few related items to use with the sacral chakra.
Many blessings, Justine xxx
