Today we cover various ways to help balance the heart chakra.
Crystals and Gemstones To Balance The Heart Chakra
– Please note this is not a finite list, just some of the relevant crystals.
You will have read in a prior post the various ways to use crystals and gemstones. Here are ones relevant to this chakra and their properties.
Emerald– Helps to develop loyalty, trust, romantic love and spiritual love. It aids the blaancing of the heart and mind and the devleopment of wisdom.
Green Calcite – heals all the subtle bodies, but particularly the feeling body. It also helps communication between head and heart. It brings strength during periods of change or transition, it also helps to heal the wounds of the heart and to develop positive tenderness.
Amber – in all its shades resonates with the heart chakra. It is purifying and helps to develop balance and love.
Azurite – aids compassion. It is linked to the air element and is helpful in healing allergies and asthma.
Chrysoberyl – this has many different colours and forms. (Emerald is one). They are comparatively rare and expensive stones which attract kindness and generosity. They aid forgiveness and revitalize all energies. They are sometimes called the ‘stone of perpetual youth.’
Jade – Green of white jade helps to regular the heart beat and increase vitality, longevity and life-force. It also helps in the cultivation of serenity, wisdom, harmony and perspective.
Tourmaline – this appears in a wide range of clours, ut the rose or watermelon varieties are most helpful to the heart chakra. Tourmalines aid tolerance, flexibility, compassion and transformation. They promote harmony, and help in the development of fine discrimination without judgementalism. They are helpful when the heart chakra may have closed down or become blocked through trauma, loss or bereavement.
In Conclusion For The Heart Chakra
The solar plexus is the centre of our ego-structure, but th eheart is the central chakra. It is a meeting place for the energies which feed down into it from the upper chakras and those which feed upwards from below.
The pulsation of the healthy heart chakra is the same as the pulse of the steady heartbeat. This pulse rhythm is universal and when the chakra is balanced we are at peace with others and the environment.
The heart chakra lotus typically has twelve petals.
